September Markets End With…Rain!

Hope you found a dry place this week! The rain doesn’t seem to want to give up, but we had a nice mid-week Market this week anyways! Tomatoes, dried herbs, garlic, onions, carrots, and tortillas were some of the items at the Market this past Wednesday. Although the rain ended the Market at 5PM, the season continues! The mid-week Markets will continue, and vendors will be here next Wednesday, from 3PM-6PM. But before that, there is going to be quite a part in the Village. It’s that time of year… the Harvest Festival is on this weekend! All day Saturday and Sunday. The Growers’ Market will have extended hours on Sunday, 9AM-1PM! Be sure to get to the Market before 10AM if you with to avoid the hustle and bustle of the Harvest Festival. We will have live old-timey music by The Virginia Creepers, and breakfast burritos provided by Apple Tree Cafe! Also, if you choose to stay for the Harvest Festival, the hay ride stops at the Market. See you this weekend!!
